A Christmas Visitor (DVD, 2006)

Times may change but men & women who have been in the military and their families all go through the same thoughts,prayers,concerns. This movie really gets to your heart. It is compassionate,careing,and very real to many. We have watched this movie many times and we never get tired of it.

This is a lovely christmas movie that really warms your heart about the importance of family.It gives you a good feeling of what Christmas is all about. Highly recommended!!

I purchased this DVD, A Christmas Visitor" after watching it on TV. I am in charge of our Women's Ministry at my church and decided that this would be an excellent addition to our Christmas celebration. I watched again as the ladies sat quietly taking it in. Was it the right choice? Had I made a mistake? There is no mistake in choosing this DVD, no matter whom the watchers may be. The acting was great and the subject matter was moving. Yes, it moved us, all to tears, due to its tenderness in dealing with such emotion, as a family who after the loss of their son in the war on Christmas eve, now finds hope for tomorrow and Christmases to come.

it has been a reasonable amount of time for me to recieve myj copy of the christmas visitor. i ordered it nov 13 and still have not gotten it.

I enjoy holiday movies all year long. This was truly one of the best. This was about a family who lost their son in the war on Christmas Eve. The story tells how we can grieve and come to terms with our losses. This is not a sad or depressing story of loss, instead it is a story of hope. The acting (as usual with Hallmark) was very good. I found myself guessing about who the visitor was, only to be surprised at the end. I won’t spoil the ending for you. I will say that this movie made me laugh as well as cry. I would suggest this one for an adult or mature child audience. Your aunt_nancy gives this one a big thumbs –up!

My wife and I have watched this movie several time on TV and decided to purchase it. It is a little folksy but is a real good feel good movie.

This is another movie I had seen during Christmas season, and it is a very touching story, and I just had to buy it to put with my collection of Christmas movies.

GREAT MOVIE WITH GREAT CAST AND A GREAT STORY ABOUT A FAMILY WHO LOST THEIR SON IN THE WAR AND GOT THE NEWS ON A CHRISTMAS EVE. AFTER THAT, CHRISTMAS NEVER HAPPENED IN THAT HOME AGAIN WHICH WAS NOT FAIR TO THE DAUGHTEER WHO STILL LIVED AT HOME. BUT ON THIS SPECIAL CHRISTMAS THEY HAD A VISITOR WHO PUT THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS BACK IN THEIR LIVES AND WAS A VERY MOVING MOVIE. got TO SEE IT!!!

A great holiday movie about a drifter who gives them back the meaning of Christmas after losing their son.

Excellent movie for the whole family with a wonderful story line. It certainly will cause you to pull out the hankies!!
