The 4-DVD Christmas Television Favorites is a steal, especially if you can find it for around $20! The set includes the original television favorites, not the cheap knockoffs that many compilations include. These are your favorite Christmas shows that you've been watching for years!
The main features are:
How the Grinch Stole Christmas - the cartoon
The Year Without a Santa Claus - the stop-motion show with the fire and ice guys
Rudolph's Shiny New Year - with the baby new year and father time, etc.
Frosty's Winter Wonderland - Told and sung by Andy Griffith
'Twas the Night Before Christmas - cartoon with the mice family and the clock (I've never found it anywhere else)
Rudolph and Frosty's Winter in July - a feature-length film about when Rudolph's nose stops shining.
Additional Features:
Horton Hears a Who, Making-of Featurettes, etc.
Overall, this is a great deal for those of us who grew up anticipating these shows every Christmas season. The set of four DVDs comes in an attractive case that protects and displays them very well. Finally, you can find this set for around $20 most places, so you get hours of clean family entertainment for a great price. You and your kids can bond together over the wonderful shows that meant "Christmas" to you!
