) A Christmas Story is already a classic from 1983. It is a tradition in our family. It is an annual holiday must-see classic film, written by Jean Shepherd. Because of its humor, warmth, and classic holiday flavor, I consider it one of the best Christmas movies. It was on this past Christmas eve through Chrismas day for 24 straight hours on TNT. Must be pretty good for that to take place! Now you can purchase this dvd on hd dvd which makes it even greater to watch with hd visuals!
