Eminently photogenic pop vocalist Amy Grant's holiday album A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER is a pleasant collection that mixes Christmas standards, stirring instrumentals, and some of Grant's own late-winter compositions. Throughout, the singer receives generous backing support from the Patrick Williams Orchestra and Choir, as well as the Nashville Studio Orchestra.
Originals include the album-opening title track as well as the delicate "Christmas Lullaby," on which Grant shares the spotlight with child vocalist Grace Stumb. The strains of bagpipes introduce the orchestral instrumental "Highland Cathedral." ...

    Amy Grant A Christmas To Remember CD - Nice Variety
    Amy Grants first Christmas album is my favorite of all times, but I still give this , her 3rd I believe, a rating of 5. She has a great mix & variety of music styles represented here. Classic & Contemporary, slow & upbeat. There are 2 instrumentals Highland Cathedral & Gabriels Oboe. She has included a beautiful version of the classic Silent Night & the 50's rock style of Jingle Bell Rock & Mister Santa. Welcome to the World is a beautiful song written by Christian artist Chris Rice. Several Orchestras are featured on the CD including The Patrick Williams Orchestra, & the Nashville Studio Orchestra. I still consider her first album a true Christmas classic, but this is well worth having in your Christmas music collection. Enjoy!
