Christmas with Paula Deen by Paula Deen (2007, Hardcover)

I grabbed this new Paula Deen cookbook the day it came out....she's a real sweetheart! This is definitely a Southern Christmas cookbook. Paula likes to be home surrounded by her family and friends during the holidays. I love her quote, "Never mess with the holidays. Always be with the people you love, as many of them as you can round up." The book is filled with not only recipes but her stories of past holidays. I will be doing the Praline French Toast Casserole for my breakfast buffet, along with other yummy treats from her book. Some of the recipes have been featured on her Food Network show and some are new. The Apple Butter Pumpkin Pie is one we love and I will include the Creme Fraiche Mashed Potatoes in our dinner menu. Paula includes all kinds of mouthwatering recipes from cocktail nibbles to desserts. Keep those recipes coming, Paula!
