I bought this as a belated Christmas gift for a neighbor who is a Boston Pops fan. She really enjoyed the "good" music. An instrumental CD is excellent for background music for a party, dinner or just listening enjoyment. For quality music, the Boston Pops cannot be beat. I'm a former music teacher, retired. I own many Boston Pops CD's and have never been disappointed by the quality of music that this organization produces.

This is a reissue of the old tape from the 1970's with Arthur Fiedler conducting. I have always loved this CD for the variety of holiday music and the unique sound of the Boston Pops Orchestra. I would rate this as one of my favorite Christmas albums.
