As with all the Christmas CD's of Mannheim Steamroller they are very well put together and wonderful to listen to and this one is no exception. It's music you can listen to anywhere

It's not Christmas time until I hear a Christmas carol or song done by Mannheim Steamroller. In the past 30 some odd years, they have recorded many other CD's, but M.S. are known best for their unique take on Christmas music. As it is mostly instrumental, Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas CD's appeal to all ages, and are wonderful for background music during holiday activities, or preparing for them. My 75 year old mom was captivated when she first heard their music, and my young nephews were equally entranced. They are the musical equivalent of a comfy chair when in the car, and calming to listen to at the time of year when most of are feeling our most frazzled. This CD in particular has songs not recorded on other Mannheim Steamroller CD's, so it is a nice addition if you already have one or two of their Christmas music CD's and would also be an enjoyable introduction to Mannheim Steamroller if you've never listened to them.

I've had MS's first Christmas CD since college and have been collecting others here and there over the years. This one is one of the better ones and the closest in sound to the first CD, which is my favorite. This is a truely talented group with something for everyone. Their arrangements are brilliant and different yet maintain the integrity of the classic-ness of the pieces. They don't bastardize the songs, like so many copy cat artists do. MS does not disappoint and I look forward to new additions.

I like to buy Mannheim Steamroller because the band does a lot of unusual and hard to find arrangements on their Christmas CDs. The track "Fum, Fum, Fum" is my favorite from this particular CD. Plus, sometimes it's just nice to listen to the all instumental arrangements which you will find an abundance of with their music.

Speaking as a Mannheim Steamroller fan since their very first album. This album is truly one of their best. Having heard almost all of their albums I was truly surprised the first time I heard this one. If you like Mannheim Steamroller's unique sound you should acquire this Christmas Extraordinaire album as well as their first album Christmas.

As always a wonderful instrumental by Mannheim Steamroller. Just perfect for background music while sitting in front of the fire or for that holiday party. I was not disappointed in this Christmas album.

this CD was a lovely surprise,full of soft beautiful music for the holiday season. I was apprehensive that it may be too full of wild and bold electronic effects.
The one vocal was minimum and perfect.Johnny Mathis used his vocal like an instrumenting the orchestra, great listening and background music for Christmas Dinner. you will enjoy.
