The Christmas Day Kitten by James Herriot (1986, Hardcover)

THIS WAS AN EXCELLENT BOOK AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANY CHILD WHO HAS A LOVE FOR KITTENS, IT IS A REALLY SPECIAL BOOK !!! I'M GLAD I PURCHASED IT FOR MY GRANDSON !

This is one of my very favorite books! I am a life-long cat lover (personally, I think it's the best creature God created!), and love this sweet true story of a wee small kitten found in the snow on Christmas morn by the country vet, James Herriot (Alf Wight). I've read every book Herriot has written at least twice, and I've even visited his home town in Thirsk, England (his old office is now a museum). This is a wonderful sotry for children and adults alike - and a "must read" for ANY cat lover! Thanks: Kats!

This is a beautifully illustrated and written book. Although it is basically a childrens book, I purchased it as a keepsake for my adult daughter because the story is so touching and she will be able to share it with her children someday. Anyone who loves cats will enjoy this book no matter what their age!
