The Christmas Collection by Il Divo (CD, Oct-2005, Columbia USA)

eBay sent me an email to write a review for this album, pretty stupid of them. GREAT album. I bought it on Amazon, WHY? Cuz I never got it, I got SCAMMED ON eBAY! How? The seller only accepted Bid Pay/'Western Union' yeh, BidPay is WESTERN UNION. DON'T USE IT! Luckily, I used a credit card and my credit card company issued a charge back and my account got credited INSTANTLY. END OF STORY.

Oh deah, so I thought, once wasn't enuf! I then bought a perfume set. Got SCAMMED again. Oh says eBay, go thru our resolution process, been there, done that, it didn't work the 1st time, WHY OH WHY does eBay think it will work a 2nd time.
Let me clarify: I have 100% FEEDBACK on eBay. Good for you if I'm sellin, NOT good for me if I'm buyin!
My ADVICE: NEVER USE BIDPAY. More Advice. NEVER USE PayPal either UNLESS you pay the full amount using your credit card! NEVER USE Cash money to pay for an eBay purchase, transfer it out of there, and THEN use your Credit Card. Then you don't have to deal w/eBay or PayPal or their ridiculous Purchase Program Guarantee, where if you don't get your issue resolved they charge you $25.00 to get your money back! WHY would I pay $25 to get $32 of my money back!?? eBay thinks we are IDIOTS! Calling your credit card co. w/a toll free # and disputing the charge for an item you NEVER RECEIVED COSTS YOU NOTHING!
I will NEVER USE PAYPAL money AGAIN to pay for my purchases on eBAY - YOU should do the same! The old axiom, "BUYER BEWARE" certainly applies when dealing with eBay!

I GOT MY CD IN JUST A FEW SHORT DAYS AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE SELLER IHAVE LOOK IN STORES FOR THE CD WITH NO LUCK SO WHEN I WAS ABLE TO BUY IN OFF EBAY THAT MADE MY DAY. HAPPY IN MICHIGAN

I ordered this CD for Christmas from what appeared to be a legitimate seller on Ebay who had I believe over 26000+ reviews and a rating in the high 90s. After waiting three weeks I started checking and found out that this seller was no longer a registered Ebay seller and had many recent negative feedback for none delivery. Luckily I paid using PayPal and am anticipating a refund. This taught me a lesson that even though someone has a lot of reviews 5% negative comments on 26000 would be 1300 unhappy customers so it pays to check them out before ordering.

P.S. I wound up buying the CD from Target and its great.

This is a fantastic group of voices and collection of songs. My favorites on the CD are the ones that aren't even Christmas songs, especially the "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

I love Il Divo and this cd is beautiful. I have listened to it several times already. Listening to it really puts me in the Christmas spirit.

I love IL Divo and I have to have all there CDs. This was the only way I could find to get the Christmas Collection outside of the holidays. The price was fantastic and the service was fast.

There are times when we need music that we can interact with. And, we express that need by singing along, or keeping time to the beat with an imaginary drum or air guitar.

But there are times when music should be massaged into our soul. Times when music is the the ultimate expression of the moment or event. This is never more true then during the holidays.

This album allows the listener to feel the holiday spirit in a way that no other media but music can. If you are looking for a holiday mix that is a joy and not a job to listen to, this is your album.

I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.

This is a wonderful CD, one of my very favorites. I even purchased one for a friend as a gift. Beautful voices and arrangements - I highly recommend!

I had been looking in all the stores in my area for this CD and they were all sold out, I was lucky to find it on E-Bay and it arrived in plenty of time for Christmas.

I have all their CD's. I had been looking for this one, and it is the best collection of Christmas Music. My entire family loved it so much, we played it over and over again. Ave Maria, is outstanding. Even though Christmas is now passed, I still listen to this CD, just can't say enough good things about this CD.

excellent price. even with shipping the cost was $3 OR $4 DOLLARS CHEAPER THAN THE STOREs. All of the sellers have been so nice except for one. i have saved a GREAT deal of money and overall excellent quality. thanks ebay

I saw this group on Ohpra and I was very impressed. This prompted me into purchasing a CD and I was not disappointed. It were excellent. Their range in tones is unbelievable. I am enjoying the CD very much. Thank you.

I got his for my parents so I didn't see it first hand, but they were very pleased with the look and sound of it. I will probably buy this for myself from the same buyer this Christmas.

il divo is the next best thing to peanut butter. they will make you awestruck with their voices. i own all of their c.d.s, can't wait for more.

I've seen Il Divo on TV and like them. I heard on The View that they will be with Barbra Streidand on tour. I have tickets to see her in LA. I haven't listened to the CD yet since it is a Christmas albumn, but I know I will love it. They are a hot group.

I saw a video of this group on Facebook and had to have my own cd. I chose the Christmas Collection first and received it quickly and have enjoyed it so much. I will be purchasing more.

Beautiful Music for a wonderful time of year. strong voices make these songs even better. The only surprise, there choice of "somewhere over the rainbow", rarely sung by men, let alone a quartet.

Excellent classical Christmas numbers sung by excellent singers. My favorite is actually a new composition, "Rejoice." Beautiful at any time of the year! High quality CD.

The songs on this album are very well chosen and very well sung. Il Divo are so talented. I purchased this album for my dad for Father's Day and he loves it. Now I need to get one for me!

I love the vocal range of this group. They are angelic sounding and a joy to listen to. I would recommend it to anyone for relaxing music.

I used to like their vocal ensemble, but they did not sound that good on this CD
