the best adaptation of dickens classic. alastair sim as scrooge is excellent blows all the other versions off the map.this colorized version is great but the black and white version is the must see.this movie is my all time favorite holiday movie.

This is the best Christmas movie ever. The acting is wonderful and it is the best Christmas story ever. It should be a tradition for the whole family to watch together every Christmas. There are other good versions of the Dickens classic but this one tops the list. M. Armistead

) I love this version of "The Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens.
Alastair Sim is the best Scrooge, he is grouchy and totally rotten.
The movie stays within the words Dickens wrote and doesn't go off some
modern day tangent, the story's moral remains intact that
taking care of your neighbor is your business and we are all each other's
neighbor. All the actors do a great job and its takes you back to a more
simplier time.
The black and white version, adds to the atmosphere, after all it
is a ghost story, a miser's life changing after the visit from 3 ghosts.
Get a copy and enjoy it this Christmas season!
