A Christmas Carol - The Musical (DVD, 2005)

If you like musicals you'll like this movie, if you don't like musicals you won't like it. A top notch Hallmark production featuring Kelsey Grammer, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jason Alexander, and Jane Krakowski. Music composed by award winning composer Alan Menken (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid). Great choreography and some exceptional songs like A Place Called Home sung by Jennifer Love Hewitt, The Lights of Long Ago sung by Jane Krakowski and God Bless Us Everyone, make this a DVD worth seeing.

I love the story of Dickens's Christmas Carol so I was interested in this rendition by Kelsey Grammer just because. Musicals are in passing not my choice of DVD, but again I love "Scrooge" with Albert Finney, so I was willing to give this a chance to include it in "my must see" holiday line-up. Alas, I was disappointed overall. The few scences I did deam enjoyable did not make it worthy of repeated viewing. Especially for my Christmas tradition of movie watching.

Not only is it a great classic Christmas movie but it really teaches some good lessons about appreciating everything you have, and not being greedy in life. Excellent Movie!

PROBLEM IS THE DVD DID NOT WORK.

This movie was fun! We bought it to ready my daughter for an audition and could not stop singing the songs! I LOVED the scary ghost scene, though it was a little too frightening for my eight year old. I also enjoyed seeing some of my favorite performers from TV in different types of roles. I would reccomend adding this to your collection of Christmas movies. It may not be Emmy material - but not everything has to be to be entertaining!

I love the product. The shipping just seemed to be a little high for the product. I was worried about the DVD not being authentic but I was great! Thank you for the DVDs.

This musical was well a portrayed version of the Christmas Carol. I enjoyed the music and there was some dancing. I will make it part of our Christmas Holiday tradition.
