The Christmas Box Collection by Richard Paul Evans

I was encouraged to purchase a copy of this book from a friend. She had found out that I had changed my style of Christmas for the grandchildren. Instead of numerous gifts, individually wrapped, and stockings full of goodies, that I had decided to go with the "Christmas Box" idea inspired by the participation of the AWANA CLUBS in the giving of Christmas boxes to the Samaratin's Purse, who collect them and ship them all over the world to children less fortunate. It makes perfect sense to put everything in a nicely decorated box, and saves on time, wrapping papers, bows, and confusion on Christmas Eve when we have everyone over. All of the children are given boxes to go through filled with gifts, snacks, little doodads, etc. There is little waiting for all the gifts to be distributed and everyone has something to do for several hours while the adults visit. The clean up is minimal and they take their boxes with them. I havent finished reading the book called "The Christmas Box" but I am sure it will be wonderful, as told to me by my dear friend. Of course, I always check ebay before going any where else to shop. It is fast and convenient, easy, and gives me some idea of what I am looking for, even if I don't purchase it here. (But I usually do) I received a great copy of the book in near-new condition for only a few dollars. I was very pleased to find it, and look forward to reading it.
