The first album from Christina was a Blast!

Christina was only 17-18 years old when she put out her first album. This album is mostly pop and little bit of rock. This CD actually came out in the middle of the pop was HUGE. You had Britney Spears, Nsync and Backstreet Boys already out when Christina's album hit stores.
The songs on this album are all up beat! They are really "happy" songs. Some are very touching and moving like "I turn to You" which is an amazing ballad with high notes. It has songs that you can really get up and dance to like "Come on over" and "Love will find a way". It also has a women impowering song which is also upbeat and it makes you want to dance and be proud you a girl who knows what she wants, "What a girl wants". Lastly it has the song that got her, her record deal "Reflection". She had to hit an high E above middle C to sing that song. And she did it!!

This review isn`t so much about the cd as it is about Christina Aguilera`s wonderfull voice. In my opinion, any song, sung by her is a great song. She has more range of sound in her voice than anyone I can think of. When I listen to her sing, I am there.

I love this CD. It was great when I was in high school and listening to it. Her voice is amazing. She is not my absolute favorite but she is up there. This was her first CD and she isn't sounding like a ho in most of these songs if any.

A very good CD!! I love her first 3 songs and I feel "Genie in a Bottle" is her best one on this cd. Christina has a wonderfully clear, strong voice.

I like her most popular songs on the CD...the songs played on the radio. I'm not fond of the others. They're a little too 'soulful' for me where I feel like she's over-doing it. I purchased the CD for only .75 cents so for that price, I am pleased.

I bought this CD way back when it first was released, and I'm glad I did. This CD did not get enough recognition as it should have. This girl has a voice like no other. It's mainly R&B, and one jazz/blues song with a legend piano player that you got to here. I remember I was listening at a car wash, and someone came up to me asking me, "WHO IS THAT SINGING". Anyway, this is a great CD, with awesome R&B tracks.

Christina Aguilera cd reviewThis is a pretty good cd. I especially like the song "Blessed". It reminds me to be thankful for all that I have, even in the midst of three little ones going wild driving me crazy. Every song that she sings, comes from the hear. This is something you can't fake, or buy. It comes to you naturally. A genuinely gifted singer, and star, she shines bright, even from the beginning of her career. Her stamp of musical perfection, is shown with each song she belts out! This is not the first, nor will it be the last cd, a plan to buy from her collection! She is one star, that has tremendous staying power.

This CD has so many good (legendary) songs on it. It takes me back to when I was a young girl and it first came out...There's a couple of songs on it I was hoping to learn to karaoke to some day, therefore I bought the CD at a great price and with friendly, fast service! Too much fun!
