British GIRL married to German helps Jews in WW2 GOOD~
Review created: 04/30/08(updated 04/30/08)

PLOT: BASED ON A REAL PERSON~ CHRISTABEL BLIEBENBERG IS A ENGLISH GIRL married to a handsome German Lawyer before the start of World War 2 and stays in Germany during the War with her 2 little boys~
FACTUAL bio of Christabel Bliebenberg (Elizabeth Hurley) does a good job as Christabel a likeable English girl who marries a handsome German Lawyer (Peter) they start their married life in Germany. While raising her two boys we see the road to war taking place around her~ also some unexpected ways she helps some Jews. but the real story kick in when her husband is arrested and the clever plot Christabel likely saves him from Death~ also the end is good where they hide out~ this movie drags a bit but it is NOT a big flashy movie but based on her bio but a solid "look" inside the Germany and the shocking changes she witnessed~ GOOD MOVIE~ ** the real life Christabel has been in many World War 2 collections where she is inteviewed about her life inside Nazi Germany~
I GIVE IT 6 OUT OF 10~
