This is the 1st book of The Lost Books series. It was followed by Infidel, Renegade, and Chaos in the same series. They are all an off shoot of the Circle series "Black, Red, & White". The Circle series should be read first to get an understanding of the depth and background of Ted Dekker's stories. He writes his stories with lots of symbolism and fantasy. They are very involved and complicated, but still very stimulating.

) Ted Dekker is an amazing author. Once I pick up one of his books I can't put it down. All of the books of history chronicles are great. It's like mixing Lord of the Rings with the Matrix and Out of the Silent Planet (C.S. Lewis). Great imagery, great allegory, fast-paced thrilling story. 2 thumbs up!

Lost booksThese are a must read after you have finished his trilogy, Black, Red & White. You may also want to read Showdown as well. This man is brilliant and able to keep your interest perked and mind turning through all the books. Is there more to our lives and this world than we are able to comprehend or understand. Is there a Beyond or Elsewhere? Where do your hopes and dreams reside?
