Chosen is third in a series. I was at first was put off by the fact that these books are about vampyres, but the books are about how a teen age girl deals with her family, a new school, making new friends, boy friends. After reading the first book that my grand-daughter wanted to read, I not only got that book but I have read and bought the whole series. It is amazing the number of my grand-daughter's friends that ask if they can read the book when she is done. I have spent hours in the book store trying to find something that will peak her interest enought to even open the book, with this series I have to make her stop reading so we can eat. She is looking forward to the fifth book in the spring of 2009.

Ok, I admit it, I purchased the first book of at the Supermarket checkout lane. I had nothing to read at the time and it looked interesting enough! Boy was I in for a surprise! I was hooked a few chapters into the book. Within a week I bought all the House of Night novels that were available already and I'm buying the new ones the day they're released!
If you like the Twilight Saga, I think you'll enjoy these just the same! These books have a bit of a different spin on the whole vampire subject. The way these books are set up I think they're maybe a little bit more "down to earth", not to put down Twilight Saga!!! The books keep you reading and hanging on 'til the end and still wanting more.

Im so obsessed with these books! The house of night series is amazing. The books are hard to put down!

this is the book in the series that i couldn't find in any of the stores. I can't wait to read it. I really enjoy the first two books. So I am sure that I will enjoy this one.

I love books about vampires. I have just started reading these books but I heard that they were good. I desided to buy them cause I wanted to read them and heard that they were good books.

If you like vampire books, such as Twilight and Vampire Academy, you will love the House of Night series.

A friend told me they were excellent and I have to agree. I like everything about the book and never got bored w/it.

I love it because it's very interesting and descriptive!there are so many twists that it keeps me completely captivated!!!It would make a great movie along with the rest of the series!!!:)

Title says all, AND the book was in great condition like new in my opinion. I did NOT expect it to be so good! The series is amazing and I can't wait for the next one! ^_^

I took an extended weekend to read all 5 books...WELL worth my time. It puts a new spin on the vampire story w/a witch twist. I REALLY, REALLY want a 6th book (don't know if one is planned), but if there is one, I'll be one of the 1st to buy it!
In Chosen: Although Zoey is growing up, she's not growing up fast enough to prevent her from having her heart stomped on & making a HUGE mistake. (One that unfortunately, MANY girls make.) It was sad enough that even though I was rather ticked at her for her actions & thought she definitely deserved something to happen to her; I didn't like the outcome at all. (Although she HOPEFULLY has learned something from this!)

This book was purchased for a gift. Did not receive it as promptly as two other items ordered on the same day.
