    Based upon one of the longest running Broadway musicals, winner of 9 Tony Awards, the Pulitzer Prize & 3 Oscar nominations, this VHS version doesn't let me down one bit. It's as great on screen as on stage!

    Michael Douglas delivers an outstanding performance as the director of a chorus line inside "A Chorus Line." It's a mise en scene of mirrors that have never ending reflections. No one particularly stands out in the show as thee star. I consider that a credit to the actual choreographer, Jeffrey Hornaday, who must have guided the chorus line into behaving as a tight unit rather than a bunch of segregated gypsy dancers all jockeying for favor, position & center stage recognition.

    Having been a chorus line dancer myself for many years, "A Chorus Line" from cattle calls to draining rehearsals & finally to performances is as true to a gypsy dancer's life as it gets.

    Although the film was rated PG-13, there's no reason why it shouldn't be G & pure entertainment for the whole family. Gather round & enjoy one of the finest chorus dance lines ever~
