"Choosing the Right College" is a unique and indispensable resource: the ISI book provides the truth about major American colleges rather than the usual (heavily graduate level, research program oriented) ratings. The tome speaks of , individual campus speech and thought crimes, institutionally supported sex parties, wacky profs and programs, grade inflation, dope culture, leftist/Marxist social indoctrination, 350 student classes, bizarre & pointless curriculum, campus dangers, co-ed bathrooms, and the ubiquitous, even weird, university OBSESSION with "diversity". It also attempts to point out a few better institutions (not many). If you're eager to keep your daughter sober & out of her dormate's bed, or to keep your son from graduating with a degree in "19th century Fijian Underwater Cockroach Literature Studies", try it. College isn't what it used to be. (The '98 edition is a good deal thinner than the six 21st editions.)
