China Beach (VHS, 1990)

I enjoyed the series when it was on television and sometimes just get the urge to see it again. I looked for the series on dvd but it has not made the transition. In searching for it I discovered the movie is tough to find even on VHS format, so when this one came up at the right price I snapped it up.

Although this product was the premiere episode of China Beach (US TV Series)1990. Without a doubt it sets the scene for a notable series, seen through the character of Nurse McMurphy (Dana Delany)serving her country in a field hospital in Vietnam. Even the music depicted in this episode is realistic linking into the historical period setting of 1967. I highly recommend this TV series, as it is obvious that this drama highlights the aspects of this conflict with a sensitivity needed to reflect the special people that work in a war zone casualty clearing station.
