If you drive a car, you should have a Chilton

A Chilton repair manual is a must-have for anyone who wants to know about the car they drive, but it is especially helpful for those who do repairs on their own cars. There are detailed diagrams and step-by-step instructions with pictures. I just bought a used car and made sure to order the Chilton right away. I have already used it to replace my front brake pads (which was way easier than I thought it would be!). When it comes to cars, especially older cars without so much computer stuff, there are a lot of things you can fix yourself, as long as you have a Chilton handy. There are many things in there that are too complicated for me, but someone more experienced with fixing cars would find them very useful. This is a book for people of all experience levels. For those that have never done anything to a car, there are the simple things like changing headlight bulbs and checking oil. For those who work on cars all the time, a Chilton repair manual contains make and model specific information on all sorts of things (not being as experienced, I don't know exactly what those things are).
