Chilton's Ford Pickups, 1965-86 (1986, Paperback)

My hubby is very happy to have this manual, even though he has had his 1984 old truck for a long time and does his own work on it..there are still things he did not know..and thanks to finding this book now he can just about do anything that is needed! he is a happy camper!

The book was in great condition considering how old it was. The book looked like it had never been used and was just yellow with age. Glad to be able to find it on eBay as we tried automotive stores and they didn't carry books that old.

For any car enthusiast, the Chilton manual is a "must have" manual. I have a manual for each car that I own. It is a wealth of information for troubleshooting and repairs of these older vehicles. Even if you are not a mechanic, you will be able to "talk the talk" if you need to take your vehicle to a repair shop. Just having knowledge of the terminology and potential problem could prevent a mechanic from ripping you off for unnecessary repairs. Using the making to make one simple repair is worth the cost of the manual.
