Reviews I purchased this book to help me in solving problems with my 1998 Buick Lesabre. The price was excellent and the book brand new. My dissapointment is there are no chapters on trouble shooting trouble codes (DTC) or in pin pointing the problems. So as a reference/repair manual, great. As a diagnostic aid, no help. I took Auto Mechanics in High school so the explanations aren't rocket science plenty of photos. In all, well worth the $20 US investment. The cost new was $120 US approximately. Hope this helps others. Jan Review ID: 10000000006244250 Was this review helpful? Report this review Review created: 06/09/07 by: spurlockguys ( 1 ) 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. This book is just as described, help for the professional. The steps for repairs are easy to find and easy to follow, however you really do need to have very advanced automotive training. I ended up also buying a Chilton guide. Chilton had more pictures and between the two books I am happy to say I got my repairs done, saving hundreds of dollars. This book is a good value for a handy source. Review ID: 10000000003783422 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
