Chicken Soup for the Soul Bible by Various (2004)

This is a great Bible. I love The Chicken Soup For The Soul format. There is a lot of great short stories in this Bible. Very easy to read. I highly recomend this Bible.

Initially, I was not sure how I was going to like this bible (I have several for different interpretations), but as I went along and flipped through it, this Bible was a great purchase. There are great little stories in this Bible that are nice to read when you are looking for a break. There are quotes from famous people strategically placed and seem to pop up when you least expect them.
I pretty much bought the book by accident thinking it was something else. When I opened the package and realized it was a Bible, my immediate thought process was, Ok this is not quite what I thought it was, but I'll give it a try (after all I did pay for it). It has actually turned out to be quite the book and kids use it for church. The language is easy to understand and I'm not quite sure if that is a good thing, because our Pastor uses strictly the King James so at times they can't figure out where the Pastor is when he is reading, but other than that, it's a good purchase.

You should have seen my daughters face when she opened that present. She had been asking for a Chicken Soup Bible for a while. I do believe this was her favorite gift this year. I can't begin to count how many Chicken Soup books she has read. She has enjoyed all of them.

I have not received my Chicken Soup for the Soul Bible as of 5/14/07 and it was ordered on4/6/07 my check has cleared my bank and still no Bible, so at this point I am not a happy camper since someone has my money and I have no book.

I use this Bible for Biles study we have every day of the year. The commentary is good and the translation is excellent for those learning how to use the Bible for everyday activities.

It seemed like the buy took a little longer this time but it was worth the waiting. Everything was great as promised!

I discovered this bible at my library. After renewing it so many times, I decided to buy it! It is very easy to read. The binding and paper quality are great. This is truly a beautiful bible with Chicken Soup stories and the old Bible Stories interspersed throughout. The print size is more on the large size (10.5-11.0 font) so its easy on your eyes.

Purchased on Ebay because of the great price (saved $22 by buying on Ebay vs my local bookstore).

My only "con" about this book? I wish it had tabs to each chapter/book for ease of finding information quicker.

It is written in a style that everyone can read and understand. There are Chicken Soup for the Soul stories interjected throughout which shows the reader that the situations in the bible are still happening today. Love it ,Love it Love it. If you ever wated to read the bible from Genesis to Revelations, this is the one!!!

This bible is beautiful and very easy to read. I would recommend to anyone looking for a bible or the perfect gift for the person that has everything.
