I have been meaning to purchase this book for a while now; and recently purchased it off of Ebay. I have an almost 5 year old daughter who has been diagnosed with Autism and she also has a rare chromosome disorder. Living with a child who has special needs is like living on a roller coaster ride.
This book is very special, in that you are able to step, just momentarily, in the lives of other families, like our own. It reminds you that there are other families out there that know just 'what it's like' to live in our shoes.
This book is a great mixture of funny stories, happy stories, sad stories and those of triumph.
I would recommend this book to all families of children with special needs. Or, if you know of a family with a child that has special needs, this would make a great gift for them.

This book is mostly about Autism and a few of Down Syndrome stories. All these stories are great, touching and emotional. Parents, relatives and friends tell what it's like to have a special needs child. You'll learn that it's not what they can't do, it's what they CAN do.

Great for everyone whether you have a special needs child/person or not in your life.
