In my humble opinion; this is the second best album Chicago ever recorded. It's also the first recording the band ever made. Each, and every songs on this album is Great!! This album is a mst have, and should definitely be in every persons song library. Second only to the aulbum "Chicago II."

This is Chicago's first album! Released in 1969. This remastered edition released by Rhino Records is awesome! It has all 12 songs digitally remastered:

I had been searching for the particular CD for a long time in the retail outlets. My LP of the same title was showing its age and the sound quality was getting worse. I found the CD on Ebay and the price was terrific. It's great to be able to listen to this group's work in CD quality sound.

i dont know what it is but in most cases a debut album by a band or solo artist always seems to be the best. Could it be cause those are the songs we hear first and leave an impression or that its just great music chicago's debut is awesome on this album you have horn jazz rock great guitar playing by the late terry kath. chicago's earlier albums had an edge but they could also do great slow songs as well. This album is nothing like their cheezy 80's ballads that they had too many of. buy this cd you wont be disapointed
