The choice of songs are terrific, and very well done. I enjoy their back and forth banter. Though their guitars are silent now I thank GOD for their influence and great talent. What a joy. Two Great Americans. God Bless....

Birthday gift for my nephew who is a guitarist. Got it as a "partner" to the Les Paul DVD I also got.

this cd represents two of the very best guitarist in the world you will be surprised at some of the sounds on this cd.
originally cut as an album from around 1979 it took years to find this one on cd. just turn up your system and enjoy the music and if your too young to remember when these two guys were at their best you won't be sorry if you give this a listen

If you like either one of these guys or just enjoy playing or listening to guitar; listen to these two spar back and forth for awhile and you'll realize Chet and Les did'nt just set standards for the guitar but for the music that followed...Gman

2 of the greatest ever. You will enjoy the banter between Chet & Les. Wish we could see the video. Attended a Chet Atkins concert years ago, but never had the chance to see Les Paul.
When Les passed away recently, we decided we had to have this CD.

This album is an amazing showcase of the talents and wonderful musicianship of two of the greatest guitarists. Chet Atkins and Les Paul. It is permanently on the CD player and I never fail to enjoy listening to the music at any time.
Maybe it is just nostalgia but I recently saw a documentary on TV of Les Paul and this prompted me to purchase the CD. It was despatched promptly from the USA and I received it within 10 days. This is a Tribute to the sevice provided by eBay. Many thanks.

THIS WAS A MUST FOR ANY GUITAR PLAYER . TWO ALL TIME GREATS TOGETHER .THE BANTER LIVE IN THE STUDIO IS PRICELESS ,CHET IS GONE AND CAN NOT EVER BE REPLACED . GREAT MUSIC ALONE , BUT FOR HISTORICAL REASONS THIS SHOULD BE ON EVERYONES PLAY LIST . SHEAR GENIUS .

I bought the CD about 4 weeks ago. I bought the CD because I had a vinyl LP copy that was getting a little scratchy from handling and playing it. I was surprised to see that it was on a CD and as they say, the price was right! The buyer sent the CD promptly after payment and I was delighted to listen to the recordings with out the little clicks and pops. I have no complaints about the CD as it was in prime condition.

Is a very good example of very skilled guitar players. It seems that rarely do you hear of guitar players who are very skilled and who are not rock and rollers.

This is and excellent record of two of the greatest and most innovative guitarists in the world! Not only can the listener enjoy the music , but you also get to listen in on the conversations that were going on while Les and Chet were recording the album, making you realize how much fun they were having. The only think I don't like is the recording isn't three discs longer, I could listen to these guys play for hours!
