Just so you know, instuctor and author ROBERT M. SNYDER recently plead guilty to having improper sexual contact with several of his former students. You might want to think again about purchasing this book!

) This book is developed in a logical manner that even the newest player can follow. Was one of the top selling chess books in the United States for a long time. Mr. Snyder also wrote more intermediate books that a student can progress to after this one. I love the many examples and the clear way it is written. Enjoyable for children and adults.
