Cherry 2000 (DVD, Movie Time)

Bought DVD to replace VHS. It is nice being able to hear more sounds and jump to scenes...The flick is a rare chance to see Melanie Griffith as a redheaded, hardheaded, not-airheaded character. Some of the sight jokes in the film are worth the price, and the humor is sarcastic but dated, even though it is supposed to be futurist. There's even social commentary about recycling! How many movies ever showed a Harley-Davidson Tri-Hawk? Nice job of burying Reno, Nevada, also, or was it Las Vegas? Well worth watching twice in a life!

This movie is more pertinent now than when it was filmed. A young man is in love with his robot wife. The lovely machine shorts out and the man must find an exact replacement. The adventure of his life begins leading him into a new experience called reality. The enjoyed the interaction of characters. This is a must buy for your sci-fi collection.

i feel it is one of Melanie Griffith better movies-the movie is based in the future where everyone is into recycling and the main persons (Sam Treadwell played by David Andrew)android wife (Cherry) blows a fuse and he is try to find another replacement cherry android(the disk has from her has all of her personality)so he goes to a end of the road town looking for a tracker to help he find and he meets Melanie Griffith a gun hole tracker and the fun begins-i will not tell you more because i do not want to ruin it for you,but it is a great futuric sci-fi adventure with Ben Johnson-Tim Thomerson (plays the bad guy and played in a number of Half Moon Videos movies by Charles Band)and Pamela Gidley plays Cherry

I won this DVD and sent a money order to the seller, but I did not recieve the item. After I had sent the money order for whatever reason the seller was dropped or removed from Ebay. I try calling the seller to see if I could get the item that I had paid for or my money back, but was given the run around and lied to. This was not the first time that I have not receive something that I won and paid for through Ebay. I have not bought anything from Ebay since and if I ever do buy something from Ebay again it will be paid through Pay Pal. At least if I pay through Pay Pal I can recieve my money back if I am dealing with a dis-honest seller!

I have been looking for this movie for sometime . When I join ebay and started looking for things I was looking for . And every day I am back on and looking for more . I am very pleased with this and all the items i have bought by using ebay

Futuristic movie with a weird twist at the end. Purchased for a gift for father in law as he expressed interest in it.

Cherry 2000 is one of the futuristic films produced in 80s. It contains both the classical western theme with modern epoch and the robotic life that penetrates to our lives. Collectible for 80s generation.

It is one of the first movies my dear boyfriend and husban has ever seen, so it is more like a nostalgic buy.. We are fully satiffied with is!!!
