Cheaper by the Dozen (DVD, 2004)

This movie was funny, but I'm not convinced it lives up to the hype. It will probably be most enjoyed by the 'tweens in your family. Hilary Duff makes an appearance but is not the prominent character in the film. Steve Martin is characteristically funny, and his performance is truly enjoyable. This would be great for a family movie night.

Cheaper by the Dozen is a great classic re-make that is well worth viewing. Stars Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt are Parents of 12 kids who are never at a loss for words or energy. Deals with chasing dreams and ambitions while sometims losing focus on what truly matters-Family. A couple of well known actors play 2 of the children, as well as Demi Moores husband (lol) playing the role of a loser boyfriend for the eldest, with the rest of the cast of kids being fresh faces. Absolutely very well scripted and directed, very funny and entertaining.

I highly recommend this movie. This is a great family movie and my kids love it.Great movie for a rainy day or anytime.

This is a great family movie. It's funny and moving all in one. As the old saying goes, "I laughed and I cried". I purchased the movie because my husband and I really enjoy Steve Martin's humor. I highly recommend this movie for anyone, child or adult.

Cheaper By The Dozen and the sequel, Cheaper By The Dozen 2, are hilariously funny movies that the whole family can enjoy. This remake of another classic of the same title stars Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt, and Hilary Duff, among others. In this movie, Tom Baker, decides to take a job as a football coach, movie the family to a new location. None of the 12 children are too enthusiastic about moving. While making new friends and trying to adjust to a new home, the Baker dozen gets into one mischievious situation after another. This movie is guaranteed to keep you laughing all the way through!

I like the movie with Steve Martin. He is funny. It was good, funny and sad. I like the fact that there were a family like any other.

This movie was another great movie starring Steve martin and Bonnie Hunt. This movie is great looking at how it is to raise a large family and having fun at it at the same time, it was great seeing how in the end that the whole family came together when one of the children ran away when he thought that he was not loved.Kids loved this movie so much that it was a must buy and it is just like number two one great movie.

I thought it was an fantastic movie I saw the original and had seen the previews of this one and it sounded good. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a good comedy.

This is very best I ever see more like a real natural, living and so funny. One of kids seem know how to put underwear and stirs with raw hamburger, gave me so laugh. Also have closed caption.

Steve Martin is as funny as always. Some of the story line was a little 'cheesy', but all in all this was a funny movie. There was some sentimental parts and very humorous antics by the kids... and the dog...

Maybe you have two or three kids, but have you ever though of what it would be like to have twelve?
Cheaper by the Dozen is a fun movie about a family of 14. That's right 14. Two parents and 12 kids! This movie will have you laughing so hard. It is a great movie to watch as a family. Hillary Duff stars as on of the 12 kids!

This movie is hilarious and a fun non animated movie I can enjoy with my children. There is very little in this movie that makes it PG. I don't have to worry about what my kids will hear whenthey watch this movie. I am very picky about what I will let them watch. They love it!!!

If you like Steve Martin you will enjoy this movie of his i bought it for me and my kids to sit down and watch together. Steve Martin is great in the movie i recommend this movie to everyone.

I saw part of the movie at my doctor's office. It was funny! I couldn't watch all of it and I knew my kids would enjoy it--so I bought it.

What a fun flick for all ages..as usual Steve Martin is in his element along with Bonnie Hunt..Kinda a Brady Bunch revamped..only difference is these kids are not steps..enjoy this movie with Grandma, Grandpa and with the little ones..Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt play the perfect Mama and Papa to 12 little Rascals..when Martin gets a promotion which means more money he scoops up his brood (11 in all the oldest a Daughter is on her own, but makes frequent pit stops along with her hapless boyfriend) and moves to where the money is..but they quickly learn money isn't everything..I wont go into detail just know this movie has a great moral and is one you can safely watch with your children..whether you have kids or not you will love this flick..5 out of 5 bars all the way!!

I bought it because it was a great value and my daughter needed this dvd because she already has the 2nd one. i like everything about it. it's a great family movie.
