Cheap Trinkets * by Beltones (Punk) (The) (CD, Jul-2006, TKO Records)

The Beltones are, in my opinion, one of the best bands to ever play. It's tragic that they only put out 2 full length albums before they split up. Although it's not as good as their first full length (On Deaf Ears), Cheap Trinkets is one of the best albums you'll ever have the pleasure of listening to. If you're not familiar with The Beltones, they've got a sort of cleaned up Stiff Little Fingers sound. When you're buying Beltones records you've got to be careful though, because there's another reggae group named The Beltones, so be sure of what you're buying before you bid. The only full lengths that they made were Cheap Trinkets and On Deaf Ears. Both are difficult to find but On Deaf Ears is next to impossible to get your hands on. If you happen to come across it be certain to pick it up, because that opportunity won't present itself often.
