"Silver" will GRAB you!

I first saw Cheap Trick's "Silver" as a special concert on DirecTV and was instantly captivated by a band that I recognized vaguely from the 70s & 80s--but had never gotten "into", thanks to minimal radio play and attention. Here was a rock group, together (sans Tom Petersson for a few years in the 80s) for 25 years that still sounded and appeared phenomenal! Cheap Trick STILL has an incredible sound and energy that has more than improved with time. Robin Zander is hotter than ever and has titanium pipes that CAN hit the high notes, for example: "The Flame". These guys continue to crank out new music and tour relentlessly.
"Silver" is an excellent comprehensive blend of Cheap Trick's essentially original music up 'til 1999--a "must-have" for ANYONE who appreciates rock-n-roll talent. Rick Nielsen's self-deprecating humor & deadpan sarcasm exhibits an overall humility that is a rare quality seen in rock-n-roll.
Guests include Slash, Billy Corrigan (Smashing Pumpkins), and Art (Everclear)--musicians that were obviously influenced by and look up to Cheap Trick. Having band members' kids on stage singing and playing instruments will, per Rick, give you "goosebumps".
Cheap Trick might just make it to a golden 50, unfortunately as one of rock's most under-rated bands of all time!
