) Unfortunately, I discovered Janis posthumously, just three weeks after her untimely death. Her energy and thirst for living in the now, typified the times in which she and I lived in the 60's. This was the first record album I bought of her, and listening to it again in the present, I realize how much more I like the album than I did then..... if that is possible. If you are just now discovering her, I totally recommend buying this album. Plus, it costs a lot less now. Low risk... "HIGH" gain. See you in the light, Janis !

cheap thrills remaster Big Brother & the Holding CompanReview created: 05/04/07

I am a big fan of Janis and got rid of the albums I had years ago, so decided to revisit my interest in her and BB among other artists. Ebay is a convenient way to shop and get "out of date" or unusual stuff although I am sure I could get most every CD I have ordered at a local carrier but the point is: it's convenient and unusual or unique stuff pops up on eBay and you don't have to drive around store after store in traffic to find it. So very happy with this and listen to it fairly frequently as I have v eclectic tastes and mix JJ in w jazz and other favs. It and the other CD's were new, no scratches and 2 I believe, were never even opened. Quality seller and I prob couldn't find these locally without being "used" CD's which makes this an excellent buy for me. No dislikes! Thanks.
