Movie Description
Michael (Michael Idemoto), a shy, lonely, well-read mechanic, is tortured every night as he must listen to his beautiful best friend, Lori (Eugenia Yuan)--for whom he also has deeper feelings--have loveless sex with her boyfriend every night in the apartment next door before coming into his apartment for intimate conversation. Then, one night in a bar, he meets Darcy (Jacqueline Kim), a mysterious woman who helps him overcome his own self-imposed limitations. Director Eric Byler's feature unfolds at a deliberate pace, creating a mood and tension to be savored by the patient viewer. A score by Michael Brook and songs by Cody Chestnutt add to the flavor.
