There is nothing like classic 70's television for good, clean, wholesome, brainless family fun!
Pop a DVD in, grab some munchies, and get swept back into a time of wide ties, big hair and huge cars.
They just don't make shows like that any more.

This is the first season of Charlie's Angels that includes the first Pilot. There are 21 episodes plus the pilot. It all starts out in Charles Townsend Investigations where Bosley keeps and eye on the Angels while Charlie speaks to the Angels over a speaker phone. Mr. Oz if you will. A great classic to have in your library and all are cancer survivors!

I've always loved the original Charles Angels and I wanted to have a bit of memorabilia. It was like going back in time. The fashion, the acting the stunt doubles you clearly knew weren't Kelly, Jill or Sabrina.

It was fluffy fun with a bit of a message to women. You can be smart and tough and still be beautiful and soft.

This was a Fun TV show, it was the beginning of what was called jiggle TV. You can just sit back and enjoy a pleasant evening while the Angels unravel a mystery for you. Let someone else solve the world's problems while you watch three beautiful detectives solve a mystery. You'll find nothing earth shattering here but I hope you'll spend a pleasant evening with the Angels.

32 years ago, Charlies Angels showed women that they didn't have to be just wives and mothers - which there is nothing wrong with that, it's the most wonderful job in the world -take it from me - I had 5 of my own and they are as precious as jewels to me. But that was also during a time when parents in my folks generation thought that boys were worth more than girls and it was more important for a boy to get a college education than a girl. I married at 18 - my folks spent what I should have used to finish my college education, 10,000.00 on a wedding for me. When I remember watching that show, even though it may seem to exploit women, it gave a message to girls that they had "options" and that was a wonderful adventure to entertain in our minds. Options for diversification in our lives - we could be anything we wanted.

Great- Love the old shows!!!! Girlfriends and I were planning to dress up for a halloween party as the three Charlie's Angels, Jill, Kelly and Sabrina. We had a guy friend wanting to be Bosley. Thought these would be great to get us all in the mood.

i loved loved it. i decide to buy because i wanted a piece of my childhood and i grew up playing as i was a chariles angel again LOVED LOVED it!!!!!

I bought this shortly after Farrah Fawcett passed away, and wanted to see her again at her most beautiful and delightful. This set of DVDs is like a guilty pleasure, because it doesn't take a lot of brain power to enjoy the shows - you can just sit back and watch, and veg. The DVDs themselves have been taped quite well, and although they are not HD, the details show up pretty well on my HDTV. I would recommend these to anyone who would like to have 50 minute shows to watch with three very attractive women. Some of the shows are mostly fun, but some are more serious about women's rights, etc.

I like these TV hit show of the 70's. It brings me back the old days in my high school and reminiscing the past. I showed my kids the important part of my history WHY I loved these TV hit show and the "Charlies Angels." I shared my experiences to my family, the best and the good times of my life.

Do not buy Charlies Angel's The First Complete Season, DVD.2003 .... Never Got it. (I wanted it because of Farrah Fawcett.) Although the buyer is working towards refunding my paypal, it is a hassle. I hate leaving such bad feedback, but I wouldn't go through this company again. May have worked for some, but did not work for me, sorry. Better luck next time. Think I am done with my ebay experience.

This is an awesome SET!!! These tapes really brought back my childhood memories when I was alittle girl and use to not miss an episode...Boy it's really rewarding much different than the shows of today that to me in my opinion could not compare....Hey this is another great Aron Spelling...Charlies Angels will always be an all time favorite

I purchased this item as it was brand new, never used and much cheaper than buying it retail. Retail prices are typically $45.00 and up. Considering this is my least favorite season, I was not willing to spend that much.

The pricing here on ebay was great and well worth it. As a Charlie's Angels fan I had to have this in my collection. Like I said this is my least favorite season. I turned 4 years old on Sept. 22, 1976 when the series debuted (the 2 hour pilot aired in March 1976) so maybe it's just that I was too young to get caught up in Farrah fever. Farrah flirted and giggled her way through her one season (thank goodness). How she was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role as Jill is beyond me. Farrah's acting was awful then. She has since become a real actress starting with "The Burning Bed". But as an Angel- awful. Kate Jackson was nominated 3 years in a row and lost all 3!! No other Angels were ever nominated for their work on the show. Not even Jaclyn and she deserved a nomination.

Season One of Charlie's Angels maybe the most iconic and arguably most beloved. But for me- Cheryl Ladd was a vast improvement over Farrah. Shelley Hack and Tanya Roberts remain my favorite Angels. Shelley (and her character Tiffany Welles) were never given a chance to succeed. Bad scripts (seriously- watch season 4 and pay attention. Pure crap minus a few episodes. Bad writing is NOT Shelley's fault), replacing Kate Jackson was a monumental task. I still say no actress would have succeeded. Shelley was still green as an actress in 1979. She has since improved greatly. Maybe it was just to early for her but I enjoy her. Such class and elegance. Wow.

And Tanya. What a wildcat!! Red fiery lockes, street tough demeanor and a no-nonsense chick. Loved her. She was exotic with her piercing blue eyes and red hair but not too exotic. Check out her body back then!! Even Cheryl Ladd said at the time (as a joke) "I'm not working with that bitch!!" LOL!! Her acting wasn't great then but again look at the scripts. They're in Hawaii and then bustin moonshiners in the backwoods of Iowa?!! I hail from Iowa folks and even I could not like that episode. That episode was more like "Charlie's Angels meets The Dukes of Hazard". Awful stuff. But not Tanya's fault.

The show was a huge hit during the initial 2 seasons. By the end of the 3rd season (just before Kate left) the show had seen a clear decline in the weekly ratings. And even though they finished # 12 overall for that 3rd season- the ratings were declining BEFORE Shelley came aboard for the 4th season.

Sony/Columbia has released only the first 3 seasons of thie classic show to date (01/19/07). I hope they release 4 & 5. Even if to the masses they were the worst (I humbly disagree only for the presence of Shelley & Tanya) how can you only release part of a series on dvd? We collectors want the whole thing!!
