Great Tim Burton re-make of the Gene Wilder original. It has the same dark comedy story line with a different twist given by Johnny Depp. I loved the original & I like this version very much with the different style that Tim Burton has created. Usually re-makes of a movie aren't as pleasing or shocking as the original but on occasion a movie comes along & beats the odds. This one has done that & the only loss is the element of surprise. I love movies that entertain me even if they are not realistic. D. Kleiman
