A Charlie Brown Christmas by Vince Guaraldi (CD, Nov-2000, Fantasy Records USA)

This album is the first that I listen to when I begin getting ready for the Christmas season. It is, without a doubt, the best holiday album I own! Every track is joyous and does it's best to fill you with the Christmas spirit. Perfect for decorating the house & the tree or for driving around town to look at Christmas lights! If it isn't already, this album should be in your library!!

This CD is one of the best music compilations ever made. The music is simply wonderful and everyone who hears it enjoys it. I listen to this CD throughout the year and perhaps more than any other CD I own. Vince Guaraldi is incredibly talented and this is a great sample of his work. I couldn't recommend A Charlie Brown Christmas enough!

Just like the movie, A Charlie Brown Christmas, this disk stays true to the origninal intent. This collection has absolutly no alterations, except the sound quaility has been cleaned up so it's clearer. -The chior in "Christmas Time" can be heard. Too often when this song is played on the radio, the singers are faded into the background where they can't be heard. Instead, this collection tries to preserve all aspects of the songs. Well done!

No matter what season it is, when you play this CD, it's Christmas! I decided to buy it for this very same reason. "A Charlie Brown Christmas" CD is uplifting and excellent therapy for when you are having "Just one of those days"!

The music is soft and soothing. The songs are very relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone that loves instrumental music.

If you are a fan of Peanuts and Charlie Brown Christmas, then this CD is for you! All the great musical numbers from the cartoon are here and not only do they bring back great memories from childhood, but the music as performed by the Vince Guaraldi Trio is great background music to play at your Christmas Party. It's also great to listen to while just hanging out at home. This CD really is a joy to listen to. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

CD includes all the beautiful songs from the Peanuts classic "A Charlie Brown Christmas", sweetly played as in the cartoon. A lovely CD for the holidays.

Vince Guaraldi playing the Charlie Brown Jazz music just puts me in the holiday mood. This is my favorite style of Jazz music that makes me want to turn the lights down, sip on wine, and enjoy a great cigar. LOVE IT!!!

OH WOW...this is the most amazing and cutest sounding soundtracks i've ever bought!LOL.
But really, for those of us who remeber the whole charlie brown cartoon and enjoyed the charlie brown christmas movie, knows what im refering too. Just hearing this brings back all those childhood memories of watching it early in the morning. Just hearing this music lets u remeber a particular scene that u like which featured whichever track. Buying this soundtrack was the best six dollars i've ever spent. lol. I totally recommend this soundtrack and give it two thumbs up!

Definitely worth adding to your Christmas music collection if you enjoyed the music used watching the CB Christmas special every year.

This is classic Guaraldi. Meandering piano and solid jazz rhythms set the tone for a disc that takes me back to my childhood. A time when the most important thing on a boys mind was when "Merry Christmas Charlie Brown" was coming on and what Santa was bringing me.

I have 2 of these already and have purchased this for another vehicle, so I can just leave them in the car I am driving. A Charlie Brown Christmas cartoon was one of my favorites as a child and I guess this just brings back memories. It is such relaxing music.

replacement for older CD lost. New version better than old. also expanded. Nice booklet enclosed. Only drawback is trfold cardboard packaging. This style of packaging can sometimes be a hassle on slot type storage.

Charlie Brown Christmas Sndtrk is the perfect addition to my collection. Christmas parties, decorating the tree, during dinner is perfect for background music.
