Beautifully written and photographed. Exceptional attention detail (referencing materials used). Each time I look at a photo I see something new.

I bought this book the month it came out, and still enjoy leafing through it. Charles Faudree is a man who came to interior decorating late in life, in Tulsa Oklahoma of all places. He has loyal clients, who seem to love his fabric choices. Those that read Traditional Home magazine will also notice how often the photos in the book are reproduced here. While there is little really French in Faudree's French Country, it is more a state of mind. Faudreee does much with fabric, laying plaids on top of small prints and buffalo check and always adds a flourish of trim on the inside curtain edge. I recommend this book to anyone who loves the French influence in interior design. Page after page is full of design ideas that can be inspirational. The accessories and their placement can be studied for hours. Charles Faudree is a most gifted interior designer.

This book has been an invaluable source for me. I recently moved into a French Country home and decorating was a challenge. Charles Faudree explains the French Country look and how to achieve it. The book has beautiful pictures of all rooms from the entry to the closets.

excellent well illustrated French decorating book. Several fine examples of living rooms bedrooms including accent pieces and color schemes.

photographs were excellent and well grouped, as was the text.

I like this book because the writer covers ANY decorating issue you would come up with. Great resourse and he is very talented and good at what he does. You will come out a winner viewing his decor and rooms in this book. Love all the great photographs!
