Synopsis Spenser and Hawk are on their way to Las Vegas to find the missing son-in-law of high-level criminal Julius Ventura. His name is Anthony and he's flown the coop with his lady love, Bibi, after he ripped off Julius. All this is linked to a struggle for control of the Boston mob, which Spenser and Hawk discover when they travel to Vegas to retrieve him.
