The Chamber by John Grisham (1994, Hardcover)

THE CHABER (1994) tells the story of white supremacists harassing the social minorities in the olden days, in the South. A criminally oriented grandfather in jail—waiting on death row—is being defended by his unknown attorney-grandson. An interesting and unusual plot. J.G’s knowledge of the law makes his books quite interesting. I enjoyed reading this novel and recommend it highly.

This helps complete my collection of hardcover books by John Grisham. I had this one and loaned it to a friend, and it never returned.

This was a great seller, very patient with me, and very prompt with mailing me my books. The books were in excelent condition and shipped very well.

Hi, thank you for reading this review, this book was such a disappointment for me, and I am a HUGE John Grisham fan!! The books, not the movies, I did not even bother to see this movie because I read the book once and was like "what was the point of that????"!! I can say this - I have strong feelings about the death penalty and this book raised a lot of points, both pros and cons, about the subject. I feel that he was making a point about exactly that, getting the reader to question their feelings about the death penalty, whatever they may be, but that is about it...so if you have read one of his books and are looking for another great John Grisham story, pick another one 1st, or at least rent it from the library, but save your $$$ for a different book of his.
