Cesar Millan presents dog training in a thoughtful kind way --no harsh treatment here. He uses "dog psychology" as he shows us how to be leader of our animal "pack". All this is accomplished with a calm-assertive manner of dealing with our dogs. He shows the way to happy pets with 1.exercise, 2. discipline and 3.affection, in that order. On pages 273 to 275 he gives you his principles on dog psychology in a nutshell. An interesting read and so helpful with his suggestions on how to be the "pack leader". Our Old English Sheep Dog and Airedale Terrier and their "pack Leaders" have benefited from this book. If you haven't done so check out "The Dog Whisperer " on the National Geographic television channel. You will be able to see Cesar's dog psychology in action.
