  Scooby Doo mystery?
Review created: 08/30/09

A good book, at times hard to put down. Lots of twist and turns, and a journey into the world of voodoo and such..Until the end, which I really enjoyed, where it all came together like a scooby mystery...I was looking for a passage like "And I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you meddling kids".....Anyway, worth the read....

Cemetery Dance is a very good read if you liked any of the previous Pendergast novels. It has suspence, twists, and a very suprising ending. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes this series.

  Their Best One Yet!!

I normally love the books of Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, and I wasn't disappointed by this one. I don't normally scare easily, but it had me looking over my shoulder at night. I think even the dogs were nervous! So if you like sci-fi and fact blended together in a truly masterful way, you won't be disappointed!

  Cemetery Dance,novel by D.Preston & L. Childs

Finding titles by specific authors is very easy on Ebay. I can also find earlier editions when I find a series of titles I want to read. I prefer to read hardback books and can usually save money buying books on Ebay.

I loved this book!!!! I have all the rest written by these two and love them all. These authors keep your interest from page one and keep on going. I am eagerly looking forward to what ever they write either together or separate, they are all excellent.

Not the best, but good nonetheless ...
Review created: 08/05/09

Preston and Child hit paydirt again with Cemetary Dance.

Although Lt. D'Agosta plays a far more prominent role in this story than the previous installments, it still qualifies as an Agent Pendergast novel.

Tight escapes and narrow misses abound ... perfect for a little action right before bed.

  Cemetery Dance by Preston/Child (2009)
Review created: 06/27/09

I am a HUGE fan of the Pendergast novels by Preston/Child, but was disappointed by this part of the series. Killing off one of the good guys, who has been in many of the previous novels, was not a great idea in my opinion. Outside of that, I felt it did not flow as well. It also was not as in-depth for one of their novels. I did not feel as involved with the characters this time. I was at least somewhat entertained and it was not so terrible that I put it down. I would still buy the next one.

Good read in the Preston/Child tradition. If you enjoyed Relic, Thunderhead or any of their other books, you'll enjoy Cemetery Dance. I always enjoy their continuing use of characters from earlier works.

Home Run for Preston and Child
Review created: 06/14/09
by:

The dynamic writing duo of Preston and Child has hit another home run with this story of a vicious cult, appropriately strange characters, and of course the excellent FBI Agent Pendergast and NY Detective D'Agosta. It's nice to see Agent Pendergast back to his stylish and intellectual self. (In the third and final book of the Diogenes trilogy, Agent Pendergast played a minor role; and the book wasn't nearly up to par in my opinion, as a result.) Nora, too, is back in the lineup as are many of the old crew, such as the rather bizarre but always fascinating Wren. It's nice to revisit old friends and weird settings.

I won't spoil the story line for you, but this one will keep you up st night turning the pages. Great fun!

Another Pendegast mystery, along with D'agosta they solve a masterful crime.
This time Zoombies, cults, and murder. Bill Smithback longtime character of the twosome author's books and NY times reporter is murdered. Only the guy who did it died a week before. Witness's all agree that they saw the man. Gets better his wife Nora Kelly is attacked and is preyed upon through out the book. Pendegast the wealthy FBI agent is up to his usual tricks of working outside the box, while NYC detective D'agosta in his anger is forced to remain within the law. The cult which has operated for century's has been called conspirators and animal killers, keeps suspicion abound as activist groups march on them. Look forward to reading this as many of the author's older characters appear on the suspense filled pages.
