Celtic Woman: The Show (DVD, 2005)

This was a truly moving proformance. Loved every minute. Composition was great. A truly unique group. Talent Talent Talent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best dvds, it's for the entire family. If you like good music and great voices this is something to see. I saw it on PBS sometime back and had to have it. They wanted $200 for it then but great prices on ebay. I have the 2nd on to and even better.

Even though I was born in Northern Ireland, I have lived in the U.S. for a long time. So, when I saw the program Celtic Woman on PBS, I wasn't sure if the music was all authentic Irish music. I asked my parents and they said all the Irish music was indeed music they remembered from growing up in N. Ireland themselves. My mom even told me a lot of the meaning behind some of the songs, meaning she had learned in school years and years ago. That made the songs more interesting to me. The arrangements are different in some cases, but the songs are the same.
The most exciting thing about the DVD version of the CD is the violin player. She is amazing and I for one had never seen a violinist skipping about while playing. The DVD is definitely worth buying if you are even a tiny bit Irish. If you are not Irish, the DVD is worth buying!

If you like this kind of music and performance, this DVD is definitely one to buy. I saw a perfomance on PBS and was so enthralled with it I decided to buy the DVD - after watching it twice I am so glad I did. It's just great. From the way it's shot to the way it's put together, combined with high quality audio, this is a treat to watch again and again.

We had our Celtic Woman DVD stolen. We loved it so much that we had to
buy another copy. The classy DVD of these amazingly talented women
with fabulous harmony caught our attention when we saw the show on
the PBS channel. We have even seen them in concert and that was
wonderful as well.

Having watched the program when shown on PBS, I knew what to expect. The quality of the DVD was excellant, and made for a very pleasant viewing experience.

I already have this DVD and bought this particular one for my father as a Christmas present because he was always borrowing mine. LOL. Simply an excellent show that's great entertainment for the entire family.

I love Celtic Woman, and know I would enjoy anything they put out, but this, their first (I think) is so enjoyable. The girls are just beautiful, and their voices are just like glass bells ringing, so pure, not screechy as some other singers sound when they reach the high notes. The songs they sing are so lovely, some of them are new to me, but I love them just the same. I have no Irish blood in me, but after watching these singers, and listening to their Irish songs, I wish I did have, perhaps I would have some musical talent if I did. I do hope they make many more DVD's

My God, My God what talents. I have all of their dvd's and cd's and go to their concerts whenever they are within a day's drive. That's how good they are.

we have seen other concerts by celtic woman on channel thirteen and we were floored by their performance so we bought the dvd. now we can watch it over and over again.one word to say amazing!!!!!

I had gotten this DVD for my dad on his birthday and he loves it! He had started to get into Celtic Woman after buying the first cd and he wanted the dvd for the first concert, so I decided to buy this DVD for him.

I decided to buy this DVD after I saw it on TV. The music is absolutely beautiful, and I thought it would make a nice addition to my collection--something I would not tire of watching many times.

it was a real pleasure to watch. The music was very enjoyable and the group were fantastic. They were a singing sensation whether singing individually or together. It was jut a fantastic concert.

These woman have the voices of angels and the songs they sing are beautiful.My daughter and I loved it so much we are going to see them perform live.This is a great dvd for those who love music.

My wife and I saw this program on our local PBS station and loved it. Beautiful Celtic women singing Celtic music...what more could you want ? I immediatly turned to eBay and found and purchased a copy.

I have always liked Irish music and these talented ladies take it to a higher level than I could have imagined. It would be hard not to tap your foot and sing with these gals. They are just wonderful to hear and look at. You will not be disappointed with this DVD as I received a copy for Christmas. Very pleased and have already ordered their new DVD that is on backorder.

I don't see how anyone could give this performance less than 5/5. Crystal clear voices of extremely talented young women and male musicians and performers. Absolutely incredible for a live performance.

this is a group of women that are so sweet in their singing you want to listen to hem all day. david downs is the best organiser that i have ever seen. i love the music and you will too. so relaxing.
