Stephen King's Cell

Although Cell is King's newest novel, one of the ones written after his accident, it employs many of the older style tricks that King fans love so much. In Cell, we are treated to a glimpse into hell, as only King can articulate. One day, all cell phone users are infected with a mind blowing infection that causes them to go berserk and attack people randomly. Soon society is divided into 2 factions: the infected and the uninfected. While the infected roam the streets at will, killing and plundering all the way, the uninfected must take pains to travel only when it is safe. Soon small bands of uninfected people group together in hopes of eliminating those that are infected and hopefully bringing some civility back into what seems to be a doomed society. I recomend this book whether you have a cell phone or not. After reading this book, you will never feel comfortable riding in an elevator next to some suits yapping into their celly :-)
