AS A CAVE HORROR MOVIE UNLIKE DESCENT WHICH WAS A LET DOWN. THE CAVERN IS AN EXCELLENT MOVIE FOR HORROR/SUSPENSE FANS.
WHERE THE DESCENT GAVE YOU NO STORYLINE JUST PEOPLE OUT NOWHERE. THE CAVERN GIVES YOU AN IN DEPTH PERSPECTIVE ON WHY THEY ARE THERE.
IT ALSO LEADS TO AN UNEXPECTED ENDING WHICH REALLY SHOCKED ME & THROW ME EVEN FOR A LOOP.
IF YOU LIKE HORROR WITH AN ACTUAL STORY LINE. NOT SCREAMING AT THE PEOPLE WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? YOU WILL ENJOY THIS MOVIE VERY MUCH.

This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It is poorly made, nasty and violent. The plot is almost non-existent and filled with lousy scenes of blood and gore. I would not recommend this to anyone. Go rent it at a video store and see if you like it before you waste you money.

) This movie started out great! Kept you on the edge of your seat guessing what was taking the cave dwellers. Then came the end, it wrapped it up well, but the way it ended was pure garbage! That had to be the worst ending to any movie I've ever seen! I was so disappointed I sold the movie! Don't waste your time or money on this one, people, there are far better scary movies out there!

The scares were there, but the storyline made no sense..I would say about 95% of this film was ok, but the ending runed it for me..it was soo out there the X Files wouldn't have touched this with a 10' pole!! Rent this flick before buying it...wish I had!!

Awesome, Looks A Bit Like ''Blair Witch Project''Review created: 10/21/06

Comments: Awesome, Looks A Bit Like ''Blair Witch Project'', but then underground.
The way it was filmed reminded me alot of ''Blair Witch Project''. The Beast who is after them you only see flashes off, right till the end.
While watching it, i had the impression that it was some sort of human offspring of Humans, evolved from prehistoric times, but was deadwrong.
Not saying what it is, else it isn't a surprise to you ;-)
But the plot i don't find good, nowhere prior to the end could you have guessed this.
At the end what is also not sure if the last woman gets raped or killed. Or if they have been raped already since they lost there clothes and given a bear-skin for clothes.
Very suspenseful, alot off blood & guts spilled, though not mutch money spend on movie in the special effects area though, but that isn't really needed.
If you like ''Blair Witch Project'' and if you like the average horror-movies then for sure you are gonna love this movie!
p.s. Do NOT get mixed up with a simular movie released in same year called ''The Cave'', with simular story. This movie is a totally other movie then ''The Cave''.
Definately Recommendable, Buy It On DVD or VHS, because you would love to see this movie a second time. Renting It you could also do, but this movie is AWESOME that you wanna buy it. Should it come on TV, then REALLY GO SEE IT!!!
