Caveman (2002, DVD)

I truly enjoy this movie. It's very simple, plain, unpretentious fun. It isn't claiming to be or trying to be an Oscar winning anything, or trying to send a message of any kind; it's just a fun movie.

Ringo Starr's part was excellent, Shelly Long did a great job, could see the star quality comming out in her acting. Atrouk's love for Launa (Barbara Bauch) who does a good acting job, is good. Tonda (John Matuszak) does a great job as Leader & Lana's mate. Dennis Quaid also does a great job with his STAR qulity showing. It's just an around good movie for the whole family to see and a great addition to my collection. Thank you, 1951bet

A very funny movie for the whole family. No foul language at all. In fact, most of the movie is pantomimed?? But you can figure out what they mean very easily!! Ringo Starr has missed his calling as this great. I wish he'd do more comedies as he's a vrey funny actor!!!!

I DISLIKE NOTHING .IT,S ALL GOOD RINGO IS VERY FUNNY A ALL STAR CAST FOR THE 1980,S .THIS ON DVD IS A LOT BETTER VHS DEEPER COLOR THE KID,S LOVE IT .IT IS WATCHED A LOT GREAT SOUND QAULITY.WORTH THE MONEY ALL I CAN SAY DA BOMB ~~!!!!!

My brother and I saw this back when we were kids and I thought it would be cool to see it again after more than 15 years later. Still stupid like we remembered , but back then graffics were very low budget and not beliveable that would explain the cheezy dinosaurs.Other then that silly humor just plain stupid fun. There are parts that you just do not forget and they will live on like caveman talk, how to walk upright & the first fried egg -stupid but funny!!!

I love this movie1 It is really funny. I bought it as a gift for my mother. It's one of her favorite movies. Ringo star is great.

I saw this movie when it originally came out. It was funny then and still funny today. It's a classic and ranks up there with "the Gods Must Be Crazy" or "Blazing Saddles".
Ringo is great in most everything he's ever done in film. I enjoyed letting my 24 and 14 year old see the movie and they loved it as well.

I had seen this movie years ago and hubby and I had been talking when he came across it on cable and said he wished he owned it...so I bought it! Great prices on ebay, cant beat them. the movie itself is funny to watch them in their quest for fire and love and one heck of a campfire party..Dennis Quaid, Selly Long and Ringo Star did excellent jobs in their performance in the movie... a must see....

Even though modern words are few and far between, you can't help but love this movie. In fact my family and I have adopted many of the words from this film. Ringo 'A'tuuk' Starr is hilarious as well as Shelly 'Tala' Long, and John 'Tonda' Matusak. Denis 'Lar' Quaid is totally hot. The impromtu concert in the middle of the film still runs through my head, and I'm sure will run through your. I highly recommend this film for the off the chart laugh quotient.

I never received my item. It has been oever a month since I mailed the payment and am still waiting for product to be delivered. I will not purchase anything from this seller again.

Caveman is a vacation. It was done in the style of a Mel Brooks Comedy with a lot of sight gags and special effects. I know I have watched it over 20 times.
It was made in the 80's so the special effects are not state of the art, but you are laughing so much you won't notice.

A great comedy. Not a new movie, by any means.....1981, I think. A great line-up.....Ringo Starr, Barbara Bach, Shelly Long, Dennis Quaid......when they were all much younger. No computer assistance back in those days, all special effects were done the old fashioned way. The dinosaur movements were probably done by shooting one frame at a time. No modern words are spoken. Imstead, an easy to understand language designed for this movie is used. Delightful and highly recommended.

This movie has Ringo Starr, Sloth and an Asian Caveman.

The sight gags are what really make it worthwhile, you will enjoy this movie as long as you do not expect Shakespeare.

I loved this movie... I was looking for it for years and finally found it.... it's a very funny movie... I highly recommend it... appropriate for all ages.
