On this 2005 CD/DVD release, charismatic Canadian singer Michael Buble is featured in a vibrant concert setting. The tracks on the DVD and CD differ, and while the former presents more material, the audio disc offers up eight excellent performances. Here Buble is supported by a formidable horn-heavy ensemble, creating a buoyant energy that perfectly suits his expressive voice. Buble lends his Sinatra-like swagger to lively renditions of "Feeling Good" and "Can't Buy Me Love," and duets with Italian vocalist Laura Pausini on the swaying "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine." The DVD portion of CAUGHT IN THE ACT also includes behind-the-scenes footage.

    I recently purchased the DVD / CD combo of Michael Buble's Caught in the Act and we've already watched it multiple times. The film work is superb and his voice, of course, is tremendous. I was very pleasantly surprised by his showmanship and ability to interact and control the crowd. We've already put the Caught in the Act DVD to use as full entertainment (ie camping in front of the big screen) and as background music / aesthetics. The sound again is phenomenal and his renditions are really excellent live... making the CD a great throw in as well!
