Caught in the Act [Digipak] [CD & DVD] by Michael Buble (CD, Nov-2005, Reprise)

DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE! I bought this CD/DVD based on a 5 second, promo on a commercial! I had never heard of him, nor heard him sing anywhere before. I instantly felt I had to get his CD influenced by his voice, looks, and presence. Never before have I done that. When the CD/DVD arrived, my husband saw the CD/DVD and asked "who's this?" and when I told him what made me buy it, he thought I was nuts. We listened to the CD first and my instincts were right, it was great. My husband enjoyed it as well. In fact, he plays it a LOT and we've watched the DVD several times in the past two weeks. I plan on getting one for my son. He is one of those rare performers who has great range and a more than pleasant stage presence. Young and energetic, he does the standards proud. I saw him interviewed on PBS and he's the genuine article, nothing phony about this young man. If his original song "HOME" is any indication of what he can do, he will go very far and I'm looking forward to following his career. I'm 53 years old, and can still enjoy good music by young artists. I've seen Barenaked Ladies in concert 3 times. You're never too old! Susan60432

I love everything about this CD and DVD. I heard the song "Home" written by Michael Buble on the Soap Opera "All My Children" and was able to purchase the CD from Ebay at a discounted price and it even included the DVD! Prior to hearing the song on a soap opera, I hadn't even heard of Michael Buble, much less that his voice sounds so much like Frank Sinatra, one of my favorites. I never tire of listening to Michael and his CD and have told my friends about his voice and charisma. The DVD was filmed for PBS. I was a little bored with Michael Buble's lengthy discussions with the audience but if you give him a chance and continue watching, his singing is well worth the wait. Be sure to watch the making of the PBS DVD which will help you get to know Michael's personality and the fact that he is a likeable guy who loves to entertain!

Every who is a Michael Buble' fan and everyone who is not would love this DVD. Michael Buble' shows off his great personality. He is the perfect performer! It was like being at one of his concerts. Awesome! I also loved the "Backstage Pass" segment talking with his band members--their playful side--and again Michael's playful side and some of his serious side. You can see why women of all ages love him!

Anyone who claims to be a Michael Buble' fan needs this in their collection!!! It is fantabulous!!!!Every song that you know and love is included and the bonus CD is great as well!!! It is like being at the concert, which is something to put on the very top of your "to do" list if you have not already been, in which case you need to be ready to buy tickets once his tour starts up again next year!! It is just an awesome DVD!! I decided to buy it as a "fix" until I get to the next concert!!!! Don't wait-buy your copy now, you won't regret it!!!!

This DVD of the Michael Buble concert is priceless. He is a total showman. The guy has it all; looks, personality, a fantastic sense of humor and a voice like butta! PBS placed this edition of Great Performances in consideration for this year's Emmy for best musical special, that's how entertaining it is. Every minute is packed with wonderful song interpretations, a fantastic band, a couple of Michael's hilarious impersonations and, of course, his famous audience run thru. His banter with the audience, which by the way includes everyone from teenagers to their grandparents, is so refreshing and fun. He's like no one else. His concert is a must see for all ages.

In the highlights after the concert Michael gives us a tour of the beautiful theater, his dressing room and we get to meet several of his band members. We also get to meet and hear from David Foster, his music producer, who has some very funny and then heartfelt comments about Michael.

If you are looking for the total package of great music, audience interactions, jokes and just plain great entertainment, this package is a must. Treat yourself to two hours of great performances. Michael Buble is the Total Package.

I had the good luck of being able to see Mr. Buble live in concert in Reno this past july. He was amazing! So full of energy, hit every note and was great with the audience. He was gratious to his fans who waited by the tour bus after the show signed autographs and talked to many of them. He deserves all the sucess in the world. Buy this cd because he bring back swing!

I absolutely love both of these! It is SO refreshing to see a young musician bringing back the classics and dressing so impeccably. The musicians he has are all young (mostly 20's and 30's) and are all incredibly talented. The DVD is in good taste and Michael puts on a wonderful live show. I hope to be able to go to one of his concerts some day. Nothing but good to say about this inspiring guy!

This is a fantastic CD/DVD set! This is my third one I've bought as my friends fell in love with the music and Michael Buble!! My new favorite artist.

I have seen Michael Buble live (fabulous!) and while it is impossible to duplicate that experience at home, this DVD comes pretty darn close. And actually, it has the advantage that you can watch it again and again. Michael, true to form, is hysterical in this performance, as well as being top-notch musically. And the guest appearances are wonderful as well. It is worth the price of this DVD just to see the interchange between Michael and his "guest" Josh Groban. Great fun!

Since I missed the last time his show came to this area I setteled for the next best thing, and that is this DVD/CD.

Michael Buble is a great entertainer, and this DVD exhibits this in fine fashion. The Wiltern Theatre in L.A. is beautiful, and provides an exquisite setting for this performance, which was his first PBS special.

Buble's interaction with his audience, and his orchestra and band make you feel like you have a front-row seat for this performance. A great selection of songs are performed, with some guest appearances, and these show off the talent of Michael Buble and the musicians supporting him. Check it out- it will make you want to go see him when he comes to your town.

You get to see what happens backstage with Michael Buble and they catch a whole concert LIVE. He's so funny and talented that you'll want to watch it over and over again. I have already watched it many of times. He's just a great entertainer!

Our family really enjoys music, including classical. We have found this DVD to be very enjoyable and worth while.

i love michael buble's music. he has the most beautiful, amazing voice. i love this cd because it is live and allows michael's personality to show through. it also includes a dvd of michael performing in los angeles which gave me a whole new appreciation for his voice and his personality. i decided to buy this cd/dvd through ebay because i was able to get it at a much lower price than in the local stores and because as i said before, i love michael buble's voice. this is definitely a must-have for fans or a wonderful way to be introduced to his music if you are not already a fan.

Michael Buble' is one fantastic singer and performer. This CD/DVD combination shows this very talented young man at his best... before a live audience. He sings and interacts with his audience (and the audience at home as well) and in the process, manages to win you over to his exceptional style of music. I can highly recommend this item to anyone and everyone who enjoys good music. Michael Buble' is going to be very big!

I bought the CD for the recording of "Home". It is excellent, but I'm just not crazy about the other songs. The DVD is entertaining, but the rendition of "Home" is disappointing - he looks tired.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! Its sooooo great to see Michael perform his music, and adds a new dimension to just listening to it. Now you get to see him sing his wonderful songs!!! IF you have any doubt at all, don't! Its a quality product and is so much more than just music! It shows Michael's great personality and how much he truly loves all his Bubley fans!!!

I absolutely loved this DVD/CD. Even if you are not a Michael Buble fan or never heard of him. This DVD will have you singing along and laughing throughout the performance. It shows he personality well. I have watched him live in concert and this DVD lets me see the concert anytime of day.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! I ordered a CD on line and I received a diferent CD with different title and it is less value. It is not the same as what Seller listed. And I sent a message to him, but he never bother replied back. What a lier and fraud, I will not buy anything from this Seller again...because if I do, I will end up receiving what I did not order and have no where to complains and cannot return it. NOT recommend to buy anything from this SELLER.
