Cat Stevens Box Set [Box] by Cat Stevens (CD, Oct-2001, 4 Discs, A&M Records USA)

this is a wonderful collection of cat stevens work on cd, the only complaint i would have that it is not deep enough into the catalog of his work the unreleased songs were well done as were the items inder his muslim name i hope he staarts putting out new commercial work again he is missed

Maybe I'm older now, but I didn't care for most of his songs. I bought the box set with Peace Train on my mind.....a lot of the unpublished songs was just for that reason, they were average at the most.....I wish he had written more of the Peace Train Type music....I ended up listening to CD 2 more than any, the rest was listened to, a couple of times....put back in the box set and put away....I went through all my Cat Stevens, cassettes, and found I had over 4 of them....brought back old memories....

A very cool collection of Cat Stevens songs. I'm a big fan and always have been. A delight to hear this collection (some I've never heard before). A little pricy but if you search hard enough, you find a good deal on this set. The book that comes with it also has some wonderful pictures; although, the book is somewhat narrow to flip the pages without creasing the pages. A definate buy for your collection.

Good packaging and song selection. Lacks some alternative versions or unreleased songs. Anyway it's good compendium of this artist
