) Stuart Gordon, the man who gave us the first two Re-Animator films, the recently re-released From Beyond and the creepy Dolls just misses the mark with this one. Great cast, creepy location, nasty monster and nicely seasoned with Gordon's special brand of sexual perversity...this film delivers till it hits the end...then either the money ran out or they ran out of time or both...but the film becomes rushed and what could have been a very suspenseful, sad but not unexpected ending, turns into...huh...its over. Still - worth checking out especially for fans of Gordon's other work.
