Casio G-Shock GW500A-1V Wrist Watch for Men

i like the watch but they sent the wrong instructions they sent one for analog watch i saw it on ebay and liked it

I live in NYC and could not get my watch to synch with the site in Colorado until I left town. Beware of owning this watch if you live in a place with lots of big buildings and limited western exposures. It will be complicated to get the atomic function to find the signal. Once I found the signal, and the watched synched, it worked great. I am good until the next daylight-saving time change.

Wanted a watch with the exact time and solar powered and not too expensive. that is what this watch had. The three little dials at top of display are very hard to see and not sure they are really even needed. Other than that, I would buy it again.

The GW500A Casio is a great watch, You never have to set it even for daylight savings time. It sets itself every morning, any where in the country. It receives a signal from the atomic clock in Colorado. Keeps perfect time and is very durable & rugged. This is my 2nd one. My first one is still keeping perfect time, it just looked so beat up that I felt I had to get a new one.

Bought this watch to replace my old g-shock in which the battery had died. Only buy CASIO! didn't want the same agony so I bought this incredibly low priced solar powered gem and am delighted every time I look at it and get the precise atomic time! Excellent 10 stars!!

Great watch!! Love it. The calibration of time, the style and the solar battery. Just what i wanted.

A fun watch, functional and durable too. Atomic timekeeping, perpetual calendar (don't you hate having to update the days and months since they are not ALL 31 days long???). Glow face at the touch of a button; alarm settings. It's a great watch: more than to be expected for the price! Oh, and most importantly, it's water resistant to 200 meters. No leaking or foggy crystals that you have to wait while they dry/air out! Great graduation present or gift for any occasion; and it can be unisex if the ladies like a larger watch face!

The watch works great, the solar charge keeps up, i had one just like it for 5 years and then it wouldn;t hold charge and i hate using watch batteries, im sure that this one will last just as long if not longer LOVE IT

a digital watch with the expected quality. it's a watch, got a few functions to it. little complicated to operate at first. with the prize i got, is worth it. but anything over $40, is a waste.

My purchase was excellent, when I recieved my item it was just as described. I will defenetly buy again from seller when I am in the market of purchasing another watch..

It is an excellent product for an excellent price. Delivery was good; took a little longer than I needed but was fine.

Everything works good except for the Atomic Timekeeping so far, little or no signal for that. Other then that, nice watch.

printed instructions not very good--appear to be an asian translation-some factors just have to be figured out by trial and error.othwise all is well.

I originally learned of this product from my son who is a Marine. He had to purchase a watch while in boot camp and this watch fit all the specifications he needed including water maneuvers. After the initial setting you don't have to worry about correcting date, or time it receives automatic updates every night, so you always know the correct time. It is atomic and solar, you supposedly only have to change the battery about every ten years. Haven't reached that mark yet. Counting my son's watch we have purchased a total of four Casio G-Shock GW500's so far.

The only negative comment I can make about this watch is that they should make femine/dress version. I had to attend a gala event and really hated to do without my watch. A dress version without all the bells and whistles just atomic, solar, date/time and easy to read, for people of a certain age, would be well received.

finally a maintenance free watch. Never have to reset for daylight savings. This watch is so simple to operate and easy to view.

I BOUGHT THE "NEW" CASIO G-SHOCK GW500A-1V WRIST WATCH ONE MONTH AGO,BUT I FEEL BAD,DISLIKE,!!!!EXTREMELY DISLIKE!!!, THE WORSE ITEM THAT I CAN BE RECEIVED FROM EBAY,NEVER EVER AGAING. THE WATCH GET WET!!!! DOESN'T WORK NO MORE.

watch did not work.seller knew watch was broken.thats why no manuel.and no refund.seller has watch back.no more buying sight unseen.people lie because they DO NOT HAVE TO LOOK YOU IN THE EYE,AND YOU LIVE FAR AWAY.

Other than having to leave it to my husband to set up it's a really good watch. I love that it's atomic and sets itself and LOVE that it doesn't require batteries.

You take a huge chance that you will not get what you ordered!!! They go on vacation all the time!!!! I paid and never recieved the watch. They did nothing to work it out. There are other watch dealers on line with better customer service. STAY AWAY!!!!
